Following his debut LP “Vastness” Christopher Sky returns with the single Voids/Fields, which explores the notions of formlessness and density. The tracks contrast and compliment one another by experimenting with the ideas of lush sounds and empty spaces. His upcoming album, “Memory Ghost,” furthers this idea by personifying the absence and presence of apparitions, memories, and dreams.

Across the traditional A and B side single, Sky begins with space, both literally and figuratively. Each composed in a single session, the tracks both begin with formless voids that are filled by sounds small and large, until they became densely packed drones that build using both melody and atonality. Composing these tracks on the spot, they endeavor to emphasize the ephemeral nature of the moment and the mental spaces in which we create.
